Design

The initial appearance of this stroller is good and its unique fold is intriguing but that's where the positives come to an end. In tests, it didn't perform like its competitors and offered little in return. It can only hold one car seat, which means it's not the ideal choice for twins. The padding is also inadequate for a more comfortable ride. It is heavy and clumsy to maneuver and while it has storage it's minimal and difficult to access.

The frame of the Combi Twin Cosmo is very large and has many connection points and parts which make it appear more affordable than its rivals with cleaner frames that use less pieces and use welded junctions instead of rivets. The backs of the seat do not lie flat against the frame when collapsed. It has a decent capacity for weight, and it is much easier to load into the trunk than others. However, its size could cause problems with public transport because it doesn't fit in any 2'X4" rules that apply.

The Combi Twin Cosmo scored well in our tests of maneuverability despite its size and bulk. It took just 25 pounds to tip the Combi Twin Cosmo backwards, which is more than the majority of competition. However, it still isn't the best performers in this test: the Chariot Cougar 2

The wide rear wheels can be locked to increase maneuverability. The brake pedal that is single step locks and unlocks both rear wheels at the same time which is ideal for parking and tight spaces. Storage space is offered by a cup holder and large basket, but not as extensive than other products.

There is an incredibly small storage compartment located on the back of the canopy but it's too low to be of much use for larger items such as diaper bags or groceries.
