The Xplore has two canopies that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as large or deep as other wagons, so it might not be comfortable for long-distance trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it's not able to lock tight once folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored highly in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk of a car. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features of note include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels, as well as two large hanging storage bags.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than many of the other cheap strollers we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position, or they can rotate. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on a stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt to be a bit more bumpy.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who want to keep active. It's among the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child and offers amazing safety features, including five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also has a twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type found on competing models.

The seat is well-padded and offers a large area to sit in, but the seat's depth is not as deep as other joggers we've tried (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is equipped with a zippered cover to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds. This is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets in the way it is, however you can use it from the beginning with the purchase of adapters for most seats by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
